Prickly Elder started with a simple conviction: the best coffee and the best cocktails share something essential — patience, craft, and a respect for the ingredients.
We opened our doors on North Mesa Street as a place where the transition from morning to evening felt natural, not jarring. The same barista who pulled your espresso at 7 a.m. might shake your martini at 9 p.m. The space breathes differently at each hour, but the standard never changes.
Today we're a fixture in the North Mesa corridor — a spot for remote workers, date nights, weekend brunches, and quiet Wednesday afternoons. The prickly pear that names us grows wild across the region. It's tough, resilient, and produces something unexpectedly sweet. That's the vibe we're going for.
